Rita M. (Gilberti) Paciotti, age 85 of Essington, PA passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family, on Saturday October 24, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, PA she resided in Essington PA for over 50 years. She attended West Catholic High School.

Rita worked for Estee Lauder and Strawbridges for over 25 year and won many awards. Because of this, she was known for having the smoothest skin on the east coast. She later dedicated herself to helping her son John grow his restaurant, the Coffee Station. She was a regular and beloved fixture there.

In addition to her parents Rose and Louis Gilberti, Rita is preceded in death by her husband John Paciotti, 2 brothers Joseph and Philip Gilberti, and her great grandson Gabriel McCracken.

She is survived by her three children Annette (John) Franco, Christine (Michael) Culin, John (Barbara) Paciotti, brother Louis (Kitty) Gilberti, 8 grandchildren and 7.5 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday after 9am in the Church of St. Gabriel, Mohawk Ave. Norwood, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30am. Interment at Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery.

On behalf of the Popp family our deepest condolences. We loved her!! We are so sorry we can't pay our respects. Our beloved aunt's funeral is the same day. We will be there in spirit and always carry her in our heart !!!

We only met her a couple of times, but she obviously was the central part of her family. We know how much she will be missed by her son, John, and his family. Hopefully, peace will soon fill your hearts knowing she is in a better place. Love to all!
