Tribute & Message From The Family

Bonnie Jean Burr passed away on August 16, 2020 at the age of 50. Bonnie was a lifelong resident of the Bywood section of Upper Darby, and daughter of the late Russell Burr and the late Judy A. (nee Roulston) Burr. Bonnie was a kind, gentle woman who lived a simple life. Her favorite things in life were spending time with and cooking for her daughter, jamming to Bon Jovi, anything related to The Wizard of Oz, and the San Francisco 49ers (as Eagles fans we forgive her for that).

She was predeceased by her husband, Steve Wallace, and is survived by her loving daughter, Taylor S. Wallace, stepchildren Stephen J. Wallace and Lauren A, Wallace, stepgrandson Vincent, sisters Sharon G. Burr (Nick) and Lori A. Stewart (Kevin), nieces Casey L. Heffernan, Paige N. Gambardella, Gianna M. Gambardella, and nephew Connor J. Stewart, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved immensely and always held deeply in her heart.

Due to the current circumstances of the world, there will be a private burial with hopes of a memorial service for friends and family to come in summer of 2021. The family cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness and generosity during this time, and we encourage you to honor Bonnie and keep her memory alive by continuing to share the fond memories and pictures.

I'm simply stunned and heartbroken over the loss of such a beautiful person . I knew Bonnie and family since I was a little girl, (around 40 years). Always had a smile and was one of sweetest /kindest people I had the pleasure of knowing. Was lucky to call her a friend and for many years, a neighbor. Miss that smile. My thoughts with Taylor and also all of Bonnie's family.( Lori and neices nephew etc). Rest in Peace Bon. Can't begin to express how sorry I am .
