Very sorry for your loss. Rene was a great guy. He was a good friend of my father Lou Saunders
I have many memories of him umpiring our softball games at McCall field. I'm glad I saw him at the 25 year Banquet and got to spend sometime talking with him

My Uncle Rene was a very special person. He will be missed a lot. When I was little I remember all of the fun time's. I had visiting st his home. He even took me out for country rides as a little girl. He went to pick up a anniversary or birthday gift for my Aunt Betty Lou. A beautiful hand made amish blanket for their room. That is the day I will remember the most along with other memories. I got to spend the day with my uncle. You are going to be missed a lot. Lauri MacrMacrone

I'm, very sad to learn of Rene's passing. I knew him from STM and also from Ridley Park from when we lived there. After moving away I would see him at the Alumni Communion Breakfast and he always had that permanent smile.

Rest in peace my friend.
