John F. Boyle, 92, of Aldan, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends on Sunday, December 8. He was born March 25, 1927 in Philadelphia to James Joseph and Anna (Ebinger) Boyle. He attended St Clement's and West Catholic High School.

He was the Beloved husband of the late Hazel Cook Boyle, with whom he spent 57 years of love, laughter and life. John is survived by daughters Patricia (Michael Zaleta) Boyle of Aldan, Janice (David) MacBride of Secane, Susan (Philip) Dunfee of Sharon Hill; sons Michael (Jackie) Boyle of Collingdale and Stephen (Glenda) Boyle of Charleston, SC, brother Dick (Alma) Boyle of Springfield, 10 loving grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and other members of extended family. John will be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-laws; Joyce (John) Ferko of Mickleton, New Jersey, Marian Cordisio Wheelock of Winter Haven, Florida and Ruth Cook of Ocean City, Maryland. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, James and Thomas.

Dad loved sports, especially Phillies baseball. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and worked as a machinist for the General Copper & Brass. John enjoyed gardening, painting, fishing, reading and was always eager to help relatives and friends with household projects.

The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Crozer-Keystone Hospice for their loving care and support during John's final days.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family Saturday from 9:30-11:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Springfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. John will be laid to rest at St Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor (5300 Chester Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19143) or the Holy Cross Food Pantry (651 E Springfield Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
