Tribute & Message From The Family

Michael John McCann of Norwood died suddenly on November 7th 2019. He will be joining his mother, Anna while leaving behind three loving children Michael, Christopher and Meghan. Five brothers and sisters Alma, Gregory, Elaine, Stephen and Joanne also his father, Joseph.

There was not a person in his ever-growing family that was not happy to be around him or happy that he was simply there. He was the first call you made when you were planning a joyous occasion (because you knew damn well, he'd be the first one there anyway) and for most the first one to lean on when something went wrong.

Whatever it was you needed, no matter the occasion he was there to listen, show compassion, teach you a thing or two or most Importantly in his big Irish family make you laugh. He filled every room he was in with love, laughter and joy. He had a unique relationship with all the people who were important to him and always took the time to make sure that was nurtured.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral on Thursday after 9:00 am at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood followed by a Service at 11 am. Int. to follow in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
