Condolence & Memory Journal

Greetings family,
I have many wonderful memories of "Uncle Joe". Many years, took a vacation day to invite Mom (Kay's)
brothers, Joe and Bill to our home for lunch. In the early days, both brothers drove to her home in Collingdale. Then it was tough, as they aged. When we moved i simply drove and picked them up for their annual lunch time together. On one occasion i drove them to "Picture People" in the Springfield Mall and had their photo taken together.
In addition, after Bill's passing i made a video with Uncle Joe, Mom and Jerry. i will cherish this dvd forever. I did visit a few times in DC with Jerry and glad i did. He was quite happy there. I will always remember him up on current events and watching CNN. He once told us, if he had gone to college he would have majored in History and become a History Professor. I will miss his opinions and strong voice.
Love,
Eileen Ruane Brennen (godchild)
