He lived and worked for almost all of his life in Media .It was his favorite place, from the school yard to the courthouse to the townhouse.
Deck and Carolyn spent many wonderful years boating on the Eastern shore where they enjoyed membership at the Cambridge yacht club and many sunsets on the Sassafras river.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn, daughter Kimberly, stepdaughter Sarah and her husband Mark, and grandsons Jake and Lars. He was predeceased by his beloved sister Kitty.

Condolence & Memory Journal

We thought of Deck today - out of the blue. Owsley said he didn't know if he was still with us.I looked on line and found your lovely tribute. So we are thinking about him and remembering him holding court in his chair at the Towne House - those were the days. We give thanks we knew him. We will lift 2 glasses of wine tonight in fond memory of Deck and the rest of the gang, members of the greatest generation. Be well, Teri & Owsley

Carolyn & Family,

We've known Deck in Media and on the Choptank. Always a fascinating man---so many diverse interests! Wish other of his special friends were here to share, but they're together now. Our sympathy for your loss.
